The reason why I haven't blogged much lately is because either my thoughts are too personal to be shared, or simply because I have nothing in my mind. It's just like... everyday is almost the same. Wake up in the morning, go to work (meet the same people and do the exact same thing everyday), finish work, get home and cook/buy/eat dinner, watch tv, go to bed. On repeat.
There are occasional special dinner (like my birthday dinner, wohoo!) and dine out sessions with Yusuf, some visits to the market and shopping centres, etc. But with this scorching hot weather, that's pretty much all we can do. We both despise summer, hence the massive amount of time we spend at home with the aircon on. We don't want to spend too much time in the car, even just walking from the mall to carpark in daylight gives me horrible thoughts about skin cancer. Summer in Australia (especially Perth) is the worst.
So maybe I'm bored? But it's a happy bored, you know? Because I like what we do at home, where we can just turn the aircon on, eat some ice creams and drink lots of cold juice, iced coffee, or whatever. Watch our favourite cooking show(s), read some books and magazines, I love it. There are countless times of him asking me if he could take me to see a movie, or go on a late night shopping. But mostly I'd prefer to just stay home. Sooooo, maybe I'm not bored, I am boring. We both are! :D
And speaking of birthday, mine was very special. Yusuf took me to dinner at a restaurant he found on Urbanspoon. Never heard of it before, but hey the food really WOWed us. The staff was super friendly, we love it that much we even went back there 2 days later hahahaha... Maybe we should write a review about this restaurant. He also gave me a very special gift it made me cry when I found it in his backpack <3
*yes, the surprise he prepared for me was ruined by my own curiosity*
